Lifeline is one of the free-to-play characters in Apex Legends.

Ajay Che, AKA Lifeline, isn't someone you would expect to find in the Apex Games. Once the child of wealthy war profiteers, she left home when she learned of the damage her family had caused and enlisted in the Frontier Corps, a humanitarian organization that aids Frontier communities in need. She's since devoted her life to helping others and joined the Apex Games to fund the Frontier Corps with her winnings.

Since no one in the Games is innocent — they all know what they signed up for — and every one of her victories means help for those in need, Lifeline has no problem engaging in the popular bloodsport. Or so she tells herself. She may seem sarcastic and callous, but deep down she wants to help people and make the world a better place. If that means taking a few people down in the process, so be it.

D.O.C. Heal Drone

D.O.C. Heal Drone.png D.O.C. Heal Drone
Type Tactical
Description Call your Drone of Compassion to automatically heal nearby players over time.

Places a small drone that hovers about a foot off the ground and heals nearby allies. A small tube will extend to the ally to indicate that they are being healed.

The drone can be destroyed by guns and explosions, it can be used in fights behind cover especially if you recently revived an ally to allow them to conserve their medkits and focus on repairing their shields.

However medkits and bandages should be used in more dire circumstances due to them being much quicker.

Combat Medic

Type Passive
Description Revive knocked down teammates faster while protected by a shield wall. Healing items are used 25% faster.

Lifeline's passive allows her to revive her teammate safely behind cover generated by her D.O.C. drone. It is not a full 360 bubble however, so it can only roughly protect a general direction. This shield has not damage cap of how much it absorbs.

Lifeline can also quickly heal herself 25% faster enabling her to quickly get back to the fight.

Despite having a shield to block shots is generally best not to revive people out in the open in a fight due to a high chance of them being downed immediately after you bring them back up or worse have an enemy run past your shield mid revive and down you while you are defenseless.

To get the most of this ability try to revive teammates behind/near cover or in conjunction with Bangalore's smoke or Gibraltar's dome shield.

Care Package

Care Package.png Care Package
Type Ultimate
Description Call in a drop pod full of high-quality defensive gear.

When summoned it holds up to three items, It has a chance to drop level 3 or 2 armor, helmets and knock down shields, shield cells (large and small), bandages\medkits, phoenix kits, and weapon attachments which can occasionally be of legendary variety.

While not as big of a game changer as some other legend ults, the high chance of getting level 3 armor (purple) is worth its weight in gold especially if your squad hasn't had the good fortune to get anything above level 1 armor as well as supplying shield cells and medkits/bandages if they have been depleted after a particularly grueling fight.

It can be used as a form of cover as well in a pinch if you happen to fight in an area with little cover.

To get the most out of her ult, she should receive the majority of the ultimate boosters for the early and mid game (as most other legends are meant for combat)

It should be noted however that it takes a couple of seconds to land and enemies can see it coming down from the sky and should only be used when not having to run from the zone and sure that no other squads are exceptionally close.
